Playing Life in the Keys of Nature

Listening to Neale Donald Walsch the author of Conversations with God, he said the most important thing God ever told him is when She said Neale . . .your life has nothing to do with you . . . It has to do with everyone whose life you touch.

Think then of God-Goddess as the great Musician-DJ-Conductor-Film Director all rolled into one. According to the ancient Hindus our lives are woven into the tapestry of three principal great demi-Gods. These are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva – the trinity expressed in Hindu terms. Now consider for a moment that time – from the point of view of a great God is a flexible commodity. Not at all the linear structure we mostly perceive at all. If Brahma is the creator, Vishnu is the maintainer and Shiva is the destroyer then these are the modes of nature – quite simply Goodness, Passion and Ignorance.

The key is three. There are really only three great keys or modes that we play in and we move from key to key throughout our life. But of course the greater level of consciousness (God-Goddess), has access to the final cut as it were. Whatever we do that pertains to eternity in each of the three great modes can be edited, spliced, mixed, mastered . . .re-mastered and produced in high quality, high definition for the greater and expanded experience of the principal dieties. What to speak of the ultimate consciousness, who we could think of, in the final analysis as . . .everyone else.

So God is a giant cosmic donut dunking herself in her own cup of coffee. Why of course it had to be! For there is nothing that resides outside of the absolute. Are you sharpening the image of life by bringing up the contrast a notch? Are you contributing to the great symphony by providing the counterpoint to the main theme? Or are you playing a shimmering solo with tenderness, virtuosity and miraculous passion that moves others to tears? Whatever the answer is, it is your answer. And you are perfect the way you are. Please continue. Keep going. Play it Sam. The song is you.

End of the Mayan Calendar – start of the New World

The pointy end

The pointy end

Well here we all are assembled on this beautiful blue planet. It’s the moment for which we have all been waiting, for the end is upon us. Praise be. We can be assured that the sometimes bizarre and often tragic unfolding of events have deep significance. For example how do we make sense of the tragic slaughter of twenty beautiful young children at the hands of a lone – and lonely – gunman? Somewhere deep inside I do believe that there is a beauty and rhythm and a pattern to life that transcends all earthly limitations. And so what if . . .just what if those children had made an arrangement before coming into this incarnation, to go through this experience in order that the gun laws be changed. I am not saying this is what happened, however it is one possibility that gives this event some kind of positive meaning beyond it being a senseless tragedy. And so what of the end of the Mayan calendar, and how could it relate to the slaughter of the innocents?

The Mayan calendar represents on one very profound level the end of history. That is the end of the present being created by a cause and effect sequence from the past, and the start of a new cycle in which the present is created from the future. That is to say where our reality is no longer dictated to by history and what happened in the past, but where reality is now created by the future and what we envision. The future will be dream directed, it will be mission directed it will become a product . . .not of the past but of itself. And that is how the world will end. Not with a bang, but with a miracle, and through the miraculous. Do not take my word for it. You merely have to observe. And the work of the apocalypse which has been raging all around was to prepare the way for this time of future creation. For the word apocalypse means the lifting of the veil of secrecy and lies in a time of evil and corruption. Do we not see the cataclysmic and seismic unveiling going on every day, in every way and at every turn? Do you read the papers or watch the news for heaven’s sake?

Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your vision is the promise of what you shall at last unveil. – John Ruskin

The Horseless Carriage and The Pagan Practices of The Hindu

A Most Fantastical Invention

Astonishing Futuristic Predictions

An address given to the distinguished members of the Royal Society by Dr Charles Hammersmith on Wednesday night drew unqualified astonishment due to his futuristic predictions of a singularly novel device, to wit, the horseless carriage.  The utterly startling predictions would under normal circumstances have been dismissed as the ravings of a madman should the speaker have been found to be other than the most distinguished Dr Hammersmith. A lively commentary ensued from members of the audience concerning the philosophical implications. There were strong convictions expressed among the distinguished gathering that should any man actually succeed in producing a horseless carriage it would be of absolutely no practical value. This consideration did nothing to dampen the scientific fascination with the concept and it was generally agreed that Dr Hammersmith satisfied his inquisitors as to the veracity of the proposition. Concerning his assertion that heavier than air flight would one day be achieved however it was resoundingly agreed that such a notion would remain firmly in the realm of the fantastical.

Ghastly Pagan Practices of The Subcontinent

After a refreshment break in the proceedings a most entertaining account was given by Dr Percival Hollingsworth of the pagan practices of a Hindu sect of the subcontinent. Dr Hollingsworth described to all in detail his anthropological study of a Hindu sect known as the Bal, in which he claimed that adherents were able to achieve such seemingly impossible feats as floating in a manner that defies gravity. Dr Hollingsworth furthermore gave a thoroughgoing account of the practices of the sect leaving none in any doubt as to the ghastly albeit dreadfully interesting pagan practices that had been observed firsthand.
